Our community needs your help -- every day of the year!
In addition to providing a year round food pantry to serve needy families, Care and Share also helps our neighbors in many other ways.
- Last year we distributed 130 Thanksgiving baskets & 135 Winter baskets
- In 2020 and 2021 we provided a total of over 260 Spring baskets to our community
- Our 2020 Christmas Store served 131 families with gifts and new toys for 235 adults and 163 children
- We provide warm bedding, winter coats, gloves, mittens, hats & scarves for clients of all ages
- We assist school nurses with snack food, clothing, and other care items
- This year we provided 80 backpacks to students loaded with school supplies
- We offer planned and emergency assistance help for electrical costs, heat, car repairs, housing and other critical needs. This year we also initiated a new Childcare Assistance Program.
- Funds permitting we sponsor camperships for children and scholarships for college and trade school students
